Privacy Policy
Version 2026-07-17
Information collected
DataCue collects account and profile details, workspace and client records, content you prepare, connected social account metadata and OAuth credentials, publishing and analytics data, billing identifiers from Stripe, and technical records such as device information and privacy-preserving network hashes used for security.
How information is used
Information is used to provide and secure the service, publish content at your direction, retrieve analytics, process subscriptions, communicate about your account, diagnose failures, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
Service providers and platforms
DataCue shares information as needed with connected social networks, Stripe for billing, Render and database infrastructure for hosting, Sentry when error tracking is enabled, Cloudflare R2 when media storage is enabled, and transactional email providers. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments.
Credential security
Social OAuth tokens are encrypted before database storage and are not included in account exports. Passwords are stored using Django's password hashing system. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so you should use a unique password and enable two-factor authentication.
Retention
Account and workspace information is retained while needed to provide the service. Security audit events are normally retained for 180 days. After account deletion, the login identity is deactivated and anonymized, solo-workspace social credentials are revoked, and shared business records remain available to authorized workspace members. Limited records may remain for billing, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and backups.
Your choices
You can disconnect social accounts, manage billing through Stripe, download an account export, enable two-factor authentication, and request deletion in Account & Security. Workspace records controlled by an organization may be retained by that organization after your personal account is removed.
Cookies
DataCue uses essential session, security, and preference storage needed for login, CSRF protection, workspace selection, and interface settings. DataCue does not require advertising cookies to operate the application.
Children
DataCue is a business service and is not directed to children under 13. Do not create an account if you are not legally able to agree to these terms.
Updates and questions
This policy may change as DataCue develops. Material changes will be communicated through the service or account email. Privacy and account requests can be initiated from Account & Security or through the support channel provided in the application.
